Photo showcase held in Henry County
PARIS, Tenn. — The Paris-Henry County Arts Council held their annual photography show.
This is the 31st annual photo showcase reception, and it had around 160 participants, which is a record.
This is the first day of the show and it will run for the next two weeks. There were eight categories, including wildlife, black and white, architectural, people and more.
Most of the categories were adult. There was an under 12 category and a 13 to age 17 age group.
“So I can do a lot of different things in the art world, but photography is not one of them. So I absolutely appreciate this show so much because I love to see what other people can do that has never been my strong suit,” said Chloe Roth, the Executive Director of the Paris-Henry County Arts Council.
Along with the photo showcase, an award ceremony took place as well.
