Jackson Christian graduates to collectively receive over $3 million in scholarships
JACKSON, Tenn. — Jackson Christian School is spotlighting the graduating Class of 2023.
A press release states graduation was held on Sunday in the Escue Gymnasium, and included 67 graduates who collectively received over $3 million in collegiate scholarships.
The release states the Class of 2023 plan to attend 23 colleges and universities across the nation and boast two national merit scholars.
According to the release, JCS graduate Jude Taylor was named as a commended scholar by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation, and Class of 2023 Valedictorian Emma Gaskill was named as a semifinalist.
“We are tremendously proud of the Class of 2023,” Jackson Christian President Mark Benton said. “These students have grown academically, physically, and spiritually, and it’s been a joy for us to be a small part of building their foundation for a Christ-centered life.”
The release states that during their time at Jackson Christian, the Class of 2023 collectively served our community 6,739 hours.
