TWRA confirms boating death in Benton County
BENTON COUNTY, Tenn. — Local authorities are investigating a death on the water.
A press release from the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency states their officers are investigating a fatal boating incident that occurred on Saturday, May 13.
The release says 24-year-old Lawrence County resident Jonathan A. Miller died when his boat capsized on Kentucky Lake in Benton County.
According to the release, the body was recovered by the Benton County Rescue Squad. The release also says Miller was not wearing a lifejacket.
The TWRA confirms this is the ninth fatal boating incident in Tennessee this year.
