Police: Man stabbed by teen son in Humboldt
HUMBOLDT, Tenn. — Police say a juvenile was taken into custody in Humboldt after stabbing his father.
According to a news release, on the afternoon of Saturday, May 20, Humboldt Police officers responded to an area outside the police department in reference to an active domestic assault involving a knife.
The release states officers determined that a 33-year-old male victim had been stabbed multiple times by a 14-year-old, identified as his son.
The release says the victim was transported by Gibson County EMS to a nearby hospital, where he was listen in serious, but stable, condition.
The release says the juvenile was arrested at the scene and charges are pending through juvenile court.
An investigation into the incident remains ongoing.
