Lura Agnes Snead
A memorial service for Lura Agnes Snead, 86, will be held Tuesday, June 6, 2023 at 2:00 pm at the pavilion in the McKenzie City Park with Brother Dennis Trull officiating. Cremation is the choice of disposition. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 6, 2023 from 1:00 pm until service time at the city park. Mrs. Snead, a Cook for Magnolia Manor, died Saturday, June 3, 2023 at Baptist Hospital Carroll County in Huntingdon. She was born on July 15, 1936 in Erin, Tennessee to Bill and Eula Lewis Rye. She was a member of McKenzie First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband Billy Snead who died in 2006.
Survivors include her son Timothy Snead of McKenzie, two sisters Joyce (Howard) Foresee of Dickson, TN Julena (Donald) Clark of Erin, TN, three grandchildren and four great grandsons.
Memorials may be made to a Go Fund Me Account set up in Lura Agnes Snead’s name.
