Final night for rehearsals before local production of ‘Dream Girls’

JACKSON, Tenn. — It’s nearly showtime for the local production of a well-known musical.

Wednesday evening was the final night of rehearsals for the upcoming production of ‘Dream Girls” at ‘The Ned’ in downtown Jackson.

The cast features over 30 Jackson locals who bring to life the various roles in the story, including the iconic “Dreams” – the trio inspired by ‘The Supremes’ and originally portrayed on Broadway by Sheryl Lee Ralph, Jennifer Holliday and Loretta Devine.
