Auditions held for upcoming ‘Dreamcoat’ production in Jackson

JACKSON, Tenn. — Auditions were held for a new musical in the Hub City.

“Joseph and The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” will debut at The Ned on November 16-19.

This play will be a full musical and will be made up of a majority young cast.

Auditions took place on Saturday and Sunday and were open to the public.

Director of the play, Nadia Beard, shares more.

“We’ve had auditions yesterday and today and throughout the week, we will possibly be working on additional auditions, we want to have a full cast of young people, a full cast of men and a full cast of willing singers and dancers,” Beard said.
