Organizations join together for a special musical performance
JACKSON, Tenn.—After teaming up with the Jackson-Madison County Library, this organization held their annual event for the public.
The Jackson Symphony had their 63rd annual season opening night at The NED theatre in the Hub City.
Visitors from all over West Tennessee joined to hear this year’s performance.
Eric Huang debuted his work as a composer, his piece was “The Odyssey,” which was performed during the concert.

This event gathers not only the Hub City together but brings people in from all over West Tennessee.
Tracey King, Director of Marketing at the Jackson Symphony says more.
“Well, I love to celebrate the symphony and beautiful music with the people of Jackson, Tennessee and West Tennessee. We have people that come from all over to join us and opening night is just exciting and we love to present the masterworks music,” King said.
September the 30 will be their Starlight Symphony.
This event is free to the community and guest are encouraged to come out and enjoy sneak peeks of more to come this season.
