HUMBOLDT, Tenn. (WBBJ) - A Humboldt business is celebrating nearly one year in operation with a ribbon cutting and community event.

Strawberry on Main is a vendor mall featuring booths with furniture, clothing, vintage items and other unique finds.

The business is made up of individual vendors, with new merchandise coming in every day.

Owner Cheyenne Duschl said the one-year anniversary is coming up in October, and every day there is something new coming into the store.

Duschl encourages the community to come out and shop.

“So we decided, hey, let’s do this together. My mom primarily runs the store, and I just come in, I help, and we really enjoy doing this. It’s a great way to get to know their community. We’ve met a lot of friends through here. I just want to say thank you to everyone who supported us over the last year. We really wouldn’t be doing that for everybody,” Duschl said.

‘Falling into Local’ event set for Saturday

Saturday, Strawberry on Main will host its “Falling into Local” event.

Organizers said there will be food sales, door prizes, refreshments and an indoor scavenger hunt.

The event is open to the community. Strawberry on Main is located at 1511 East Main Street in Humboldt.
