Madison Co. Election Commission certifies Presidential Preference Primary results

MADISON COUNTY, Tenn. — The March 1 Presidential Preference Primary has now been certified.

Members of the Madison County Election Commission met Wednesday morning to take a look at the votes cast and info on those casting the ballots.

The commission also made its quarterly inspection of voter registration applications for deficiencies.

“Going through all the applications to vote, the signatures and the poll books and matching them against the votes cast on the voting machine, and all that worked out,” said Kim Buckley, administrator of elections for Madison County.

If you plan on voting in the Madison County General Election on Aug. 4, you have until July 5 to register.
