Crews respond to burning vehicle along I-40 in Decatur Co.
DECATUR COUNTY, Tenn. — Crews responded Friday morning to a burning vehicle along Interstate 40 in Decatur County near the Benton County line.
The vehicle caught fire near mile marker 125, according to Benton County Sheriff Kenny Christopher.
Lt. Brad Wilbanks with the Tennessee Highway Patrol said no one was injured.
Wilbanks said the vehicle caught fire as a result of overheating, a risk he said becomes more common during the heat of the summer months.
