Police: Memphis crash victim was fatally shot
MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) – Memphis police say a man first believed to have died as the result of a car accident instead was fatally shot.
The Commercial Appeal reports 25-year-old Justin Langston was found unconscious in his vehicle after it crashed into a utility pole on July 7 near LeMoyne-Owen College. He was pronounced dead that day at a hospital.
Police said Tuesday that a bullet wound later was found on Langston’s body. No arrests have been made.
