Police investigate East Jackson homicide

JACKSON, Tenn.– Police say they are investigating a homicide near Allenton Heights.

Few details are being released at this time. Police said they were initially dispatched to a shots fired call Saturday night.

One person has died, according to a shift commander.

A reporter on scene described being able to see several shell casings on the ground and what appeared to be a shirt with blood stains.

Police are working several leads and no information about a possible suspect was available at this time, according to Police.
