Police: Man killed in shooting outside Savannah business
SAVANNAH, Tenn. — Savannah Police say a man was killed in a shooting outside of a business Friday night.
The Savannah police department said the homicide happened on Florence Road in the cedar pantry parking lot.
Police say the accused gunman,Carlos Ferguson Jr. is from Memphis.
Investigators believe Ferguson shot five rounds into the victim’s car, which had three other passengers inside.
Detectives say the shooting may be drug related.
Ferguson is in police custody and is charged with first degree murder and three counts of reckless endangerment, according to Investigator T.J. Barker with the Savannah Police department.
Police say this is still an open and active investigation and the motive is unclear at this time.
