Herron Grove Bridge Project Resumes
After a four month delay, construction on the Herron Grove Road bridge rebuilding project has cranked up again. Monday afternoon, crews worked to repair the road’s bridge. Officials said winter weather, along with obtaining permission from several property owners to use portions of their lots for the project, put a halt on the previous repair efforts. Mayor Jerry Gist said he understands the inconvenience the delay has caused many who live in the area and said the city will work diligently to complete the project within the next four months.
