Three Arrested, Charged with Drug Trafficking
Three people are facing charges after their arrests involving drugs. Jackson police arrested three men suspected of drug trafficking. They are identified as Lee Kelvin Young III, Christopher Jerek Rutherford and Jarvis Maurice Merriweather. Each face drug-related charges. They were taken into custody Saturday night on Quail Cove in east Jackson. Police said they found marijuana on Young and Rutherford. Merriweather was found to have a larger amount of drugs, scales and packing materials. Merriweather also faces another outstanding arrest warrant.
