West Carroll Jr./Sr. High School’s Great Pretenders
West Carroll‘s Destination 2011 will present the musical variety show The Great Pretenders at 7 p.m. April 8 and 9 in the gymnasium of West Carroll Jr. /Sr. High School off U.S. 70/77 between McLemoresville and Atwood. West Carroll‘s school seniors and parents will perform a variety of acts featuring live and lip-sync versions of favorite country, rock, pop, R &B and rap music artists and comedy and dance numbers. Scheduled acts include: Beyonce, Tim McGraw, Spice Girls, Carrie Underwood, Ray Stevens, Cha-Cha Slide, Kenny Chesney, Hannah Montana, Jim Carrey, Led Zeppelin, Rodney Atkins and more. Tickets are $6 for general admission and $8 for reserved, in advance, and $8 and $9 at the door. They‘re available in advance from West Carroll seniors. Proceeds will benefit West Carroll‘s Destination 2011, a project to stage a drug- and alcohol-free graduation party. For more information, call 697-1163.
