Shooting Arrest in Carroll County

An early morning argument between two Carroll County men ends with one behind bars and the other in critical condition. According to Sheriff Andy Dickson, Nick Taylor, 18, left the home in cedar grove after an arguing with 37-year-old James Roe. When he came back, investigators said Taylor shot Roe in the leg causing excessive bleeding. Roe was rushed to the emergency room and is currently in critical but stable condition. Taylor remains in Carroll County jail facing attempted first degree murder charges.
