36 Year Old Accused of Impregnating Teen
Investigators said a 15 year old girl traveled to Dresden to spend time with her family, in 2008. That is when she met then, 33 year old William Frazier, a family member’s boyfriend. “If it were shame, or didn’t want to talk about it, I don’t know, really not been clues as to why it’s taken two or three years to come forward,” said Investigator David Andrews of the Dresden Police Department. During her visit, the victim alleges she and Frazier had sex one time, and that is when she became pregnant. “The evidence gathered in the investigation was enough to have a warrant issued for his arrest,” explained Investigator Andrews. He also said that included a DNA test by the victim. Now Frazier faces one count of aggravated statutory rape, but would not say if they expect to file more charges. “I think it’s just absurd, he’s a grown man, what can a 15 year old do with him,” asked Whitnee Smith, a 19-year-old college student. “You can not have those people walking among your children,” said Robbie Browning, a Dresden resident. The thought of a child dealing with an adult situation is heartbreaking for Browning, but said she mostly feels for Frazier’s three-year-old child. “A baby that’s totally innocent, will pay a price for the way they came into the world.”
