Man Touches Powerline on Courtland

The aftermath of the storms gave way to many hidden dangers and one incident wound up sending a midtown Jackson man to the hospital. Rescue crews responded to a call of a man who came in contact with a live power line that had fallen in the yard of his home. Officers said they do not know the extent of the victims injuries, bust said he was conscious when he was taken by ambulance to a local hospital for treatment for what is believed to be non-life threatening injuries. JEA officials remind you to stay away from any downed power lines and contact them if repairs are needed.
