Northside Assembly Gives Cans to RIFA
The Easter season was capped off with a huge act of giving for one local church. Monday, members of Northside Assembly of God Church loaded more than 12,000 pounds of food onto RIFA trucks. For several weeks, the church challenged its members and the community to give as part of the “We Can” Food Drive, which ended on Easter Sunday. “We are a blessed nation and we just need to continue to give to those who are in need it might be someone next door it might be someone across the street you never know,” said Derek Eledge, of Northside Assembly of God Church. RIFA, or the Regional Interfaith Association offers tow hot meals for the needy in Jackson and Madison County.
