Riverside Drive Flooded, Blocked

Rising river levels across West Tennessee are causing some serious problems for drivers. Thursday afternoon, flood waters from the rain-swollen Forked Deer River forced the closure of Riverside Drive in South Madison County. Drivers are being rerouted and are being asked the avoid the area if possible. The South Fork of the Forked Deer River is expected to crest tonight at about a foot above flood stage, then is expected to slowly fall.
