Evacuation Information
Because of the on-going flooding across West Tennessee, there are many evacuations underway in the area. The Obion County Emergency Management Agency is encouraging residents in Rives and the town of Obion to leave now. A shelter is open at the Second Baptist Church in Union City. In Dyer County, evacuations are currently recommended in several flood-prone areas of Dyersburg, where a Red Cross shelter has been set up at the First Assembly of God Church in Dyersburg.
