Voluntary Evacuations In Rives

Voluntary evacuations are underway in the town of Rives in Obion County. The Obion County Emergency Management Agency says all residents of the town should prepare now to evacuate. Flooding is already taking place in Rives with more expected. The EMA says anyone who leaves is asked to secure their property and place a white flag or cloth on the front door to alert responders the residence has been emptied. A shelter for evacuees is in place at Second Baptist Church in Union City.
