Woman Wanted in Multiple States
A West Tennessee woman wanted on various charges in two states was arrested in Jackson. According to the Madison County Sheriff’s Department, Shirley Jean Rush, 59, was arrested by deputies Tuesday in the parking lot of a west Jackson business on outstanding warrants. An investigation shows that Rush, who is from the Cedar Grove area of Carroll County is facing theft, forgery, failure to appear and bad check charges in three counties in Missouri and one county in Arkansas. Rush is being held in the criminal justice complex, awaiting an extradition hearing.
