Stinson Enters Best Interest Plea
The Jackson teen accused of murdering a man during a 2009 drug deal has entered a best interest plea. Quendarious Stinson, 17, entered the plea, Monday, which is equivalent to pleading guilty in the 2009 shooting death of Eduardo Martinez. Police believe Stinson met up with Martinez and his nephew outside a midtown convenience store. Investigators said after driving a few blocks away, something went wrong and Stinson fatally shot Martinez. As part of his plea agreement, Stinson will spend 17 and a half yeas in prison with no chance of parole.
