Jackson city leaders have opened up the Carl Perkins Civic Center as an emergency storm shelter, Wednesday night. The doors opened around 3, Wednesday afternoon. EMA leaders want to stress there will be no food, drinks or beds. The shelter is for cover only and is a stay at your own risk location, still many families tell ABC 7 Eyewitness News, they are just glad there is a place they can go tonight.
