JFD Fights Clayton Street Blaze

A South Jackson family is out of their home after a late morning fire, Wednesday. Jackson firefighters were called to a home on Clayton Street around 10 a.m. Even with five units working, the house suffered major damage, while the rest of the house was damaged by smoke and water. Everyone, according to fire investigators was able to get out safely. The cause of the fire remains under investigation, however fire crews said it does not appear suspicious.
