Southwest Development Volunteers Honored

Those who give of themselves to help others across west Tennessee were honored, Tuesday. The Southwest Tennessee Development District held a luncheon to recognize senior citizen directors from eight west Tennessee counties as well as an ombudsman and a staff attorney for West Tennessee Legal Services, who were honored for their work with the senior health insurance program and senior Medicare patrol statewide grant program. The programs assist individuals with Medicare and Medicaid fraud prevention. Hollie Knight of Selmer was named as Volunteer of the Year.
