Lambuth Area Cleaning Up
The force of Wednesday night’s high winds and thunderstorms could be seen all across the LANA community. Along Lambuth and Maple Street, daylight gave way to dozens of toppled trees, which use to line many neighborhood streets. Crews worked late into the night, removing debris and clearing roadways. Witnesses said the high winds downed utility poles, leaving many in the dark. JEA officials reported outages throughout the city. They added, at the peak of the storm, an estimated 2,500 customers were affected.
