Police Arrest Suspect after High Speed Chase

Jackson police have arrested a man after he led them on a high speed chase through north Jackson, Thursday afternoon. According to investigators, the chase began a little before 5 after officers attempted to stop the suspect who then sped off reaching speeds up to 100 miles per hour. Investigators called in the Jackson Police helicopter to assist in locating the suspects vehicle, which was found at a church along North Highland. After a short foot pursuit, officers were able to arrest the suspect. The investigation is ongoing.
