Union City Business Hit by storm

Wednesday night’s storms hit hard, especially at Danny Larcom Heating and Air in Union City. Security cameras caught the action as the strong straight line winds ripped away the side wall to a their back warehouse. Employees said when they came to work in the morning they found debris scattered throughout the building. Manager Steve Robertson said they have been hard at work building reinforcements so the entire warehouse doesn’t collapse. He adds that despite all of the damage, they believe they were fortunate. “You never think it’s gonna happen to you so you just pray that everything’s okay and pick up the pieces and move on. It could be a lot worse. A lot of other people in the country doing a lot worse than we are so we’re blessed,” said Robertson. Robertson says the reinforcements have secured the building so it’s safe to work in until they can make repairs.
