Child Dies In Pool Accident
An autopsy has been ordered in the death of an 11-year-old boy found in a neighbor’s pool in rural Carroll County.
Coroner Ken Strachan tells the Greenwood Commonwealth that the body was found about 9:45 p.m. Wednesday by deputies responding to a call that the boy was missing. He says the body was under water in the in-ground pool.
Strachan identified the boy as William Thomas Gibbs.
