Up to $1,000 in reward money is being offered for information in Monday’s deadly shooting in east Jackson. Police said Marketis Bailey, 22, was gunned down in the middle of Holland Avenue around 2, Monday afternoon. Investigators said he was shot several times and they believe there were witnesses. Anonymous tips can be made to Crime Stoppers either by phone or online. The suspect is believed to be a black man in his early 20s. He is about 6 feet tall with a slender build. At the time, he was wearing a green fitted baseball cap, dark blue jeans and was carrying a white T-shirt. He was last seen running east on East Chester Street from Holland Avenue.
