The man authorities believe is responsible for striking two horses with three riders in a head on collision and killing Amber Kendrick, 12, is now facing several charges. Richard Alan White, 28, is charged with reckless vehicular homicide, failure to stop and render aide in and accident with the death or personal injury, tampering with evidence, and leaving the scene of an accident. However, family members of Amber want to know why he wasn’t arrested before the accident, since he has been wanted for two weeks for violating community corrections. “Is that the way we are gonna continue to do business, so we can allow people out here on the roads being irresponsible, taking the lives of our children and our mothers and our wives? This hits home for a lot of us out here,” said Amber’s father, Charles Kendrick. Sheriff David Woolfork said deputies did attempt to execute the warrant two days after it was issued at White’s house, but he was not home. White is scheduled to be arraigned in General Sessions Court on Monday.
