Arrests Made In Theft Ring
Investigators in Hardeman County say they have made two significant arrests in connection with a multi-county theft ring. Chief Investigator Steaven Joy says numerous vehicle trailers, lawnmowers, lawn equipment and scrap metal have been recovered. The names of the two men arrested are not being released, at the request of law enforcement. Several other arrests are expected in this case, Joy says. Authorities believe the suspects may have stolen items from Hardeman, Madison, Haywood. Fayette, and Tipton Counties. Some of the items have been returned to their owners, however many remain at the Hardeman County Sheriff’s Department. Investigators say if you believe one of these items may belong to you, bring proof of the item, such as a picture, and visit the Sheriff’s Department.
