Employee Suspected in Dollar Tree Robbery

Jackson police say they know exactly who they are looking for in the Tuesday night robbery of the Dollar Tree in northeast Jackson — a store employee. An arrest warrant charging Brandon Cole, 21, of Jackson with aggravated robbery has been issued by Jackson police. A co-worker told police just before 9:30 p.m., Tuesday, she was in the office counting money from the registers, after closing, when Cole pulled out a stun gun, grabbed her and put it to her side. Cole is then accused of taking the store’s money and leaving. Cole is a black man, 5-feet, 8-inches tall and about 245 pounds. His last known address is on Tracewood Cove in Jackson. He may be driving a blue 2001 Chevrolet Blazer with Tennessee license plate 128 BMJ.
