Rollover on Interstate 40 Brings Traffic to Halt

Troopers with the Tennessee Highway Patrol are investigating a wreck Friday afternoon along Interstate 40 which caused one driver’s vehicle to roll over. Authorities said around 2:30 p.m., near mile marker 71 in west Madison County, a pickup truck and another vehicle towing a U-Haul camper collided. Troopers told ABC 7 Eyewitness News neither of the drivers were hurt in the crash, however east bound traffic was brought to a sluggish pace for nearly two miles as crews worked to clear the scene.
