The Hermitage Getting Repairs
The Hermitage in Nashville, home of President Andrew Jackson, will get a touchup Friday from volunteers.
Employees from Deloitte LLP will repair and refresh grounds and equipment at the National Historic Landmark site. It will mark the seventh straight year the company has volunteered at The Hermitage.
Deloitte, which has more than 1,000 workers in its nearby Financial Services Group, also provides the supplies and equipment for the annual project, part of the company’s nationwide Impact Day.
The Hermitage has more than 30 historic buildings on its 1,120-acre site east of downtown Nashville. It has 180,000 annual visitors and is a Smithsonian Institution Affiliate Museum.
