Lipscomb Adds Degree Programs
Lipscomb University has introduced bachelors and master’s degree programs in information security.
Don Geddes, chairman of the Nashville university’s computing and information technology department, says companies are in desperate need of information security experts.
The bachelor of science program aims to prepare students for entry-level security jobs in the handling of electronic information, while the master of science degree is designed for information technology professionals who want to manage information systems.
