Woman Charged with TennCare Fraud in Madison County

For the second time a Madison County woman is facing charges involving TennCare fraud. Tammy Marie Dunagan, 43, was indicted in Gibson County on one count of fraudulently using TennCare to obtain controlled substances by doctor shopping. The investigation showed the woman went to multiple doctors in a short period using TennCare as payment. She is also facing an indictment from Carroll County on similar charges. Dunagan could be sentenced up to tow years on each charge.
