State Basketball Profits Fall
Profit at the state high school basketball tourneys has declined more than $68,000.
The Tennessee Secondary School Athletic Association told its Board of Control that the TSSAA had a net income of $561,228 this year, down from $629,629 a year ago.
According to The Daily News Journal, the biggest drop came in the Division I boys tourney, which had a decline of more than $50,000.
Bernard Childress, TSSAA executive director, said the tourney schedule may be changed next year.
