Madison County Woman Charged with TennCare Fraud

A Madison County woman is behind bars after McNairy County investigators said she lied to receive healthcare benefits through TennCare. Jalesha Lashae Heard is charged with two counts of TennCare fraud and two counts of theft of services in McNairy County. Court papers claim she received TennCare services she was not entitled to by falsely reporting the number of young children in her home. Heard remains jailed in McNairy County in lieu of a $100,000 bond.
