Former Crockett Co. Judge Indicted on Federal Charges

The former West Tennessee judge arrested earlier this year on drug charges has been indicted by a federal grand jury. Former Crockett County General Sessions Judge Shannon Jones faces a five-count indictment ranging form conspiracy to possession of pseudoephedrine. Along with Jones, Stanley Knox and Rebecca Hamill were also indicted on the same charges. The three were arrested February 3 at Jones’ home in Friendship where drug agents reported finding some finished meth and a lot of meth-making materials. Jones had served as judge from 2002 to 2006 and moist recently worked as an attorney in Crockett County.
