Jackson Woman Accused of Running Over Boyfriend

A Jackson woman, who admitted to police she drank 40 ounces of beer and then some before running over her boyfriend, faced a judge, Wednesday morning. According to court records, after arguing with her boyfriend, Phyllis Abrams ran over him while he walked along James Buchannan Drive, Tuesday morning. Police records showed she failed multiple sobriety tests. Abrams faces three charges including aggravated domestic assault. She remains jailed in lieu of $10,000 bond. Her boyfriend has been treated for his injuries.
