Shelby County Blocks Home School Athletes
Shelby County school officials have voted not to allow home school students to play for public school teams.
A new TSSAA bylaw opens the way for home school athletes to try out for public school teams, according to The Commercial Appeal.
Superintendent John Aitken said principals and athletic directors don’t support a change from current policy banning such participation.
