Man and Woman Arrested on Multiple Charges
A Jackson man is free on $2,000 bond after investigators say he tried to push a woman out of his moving truck. William McMillen, 64, was arrested around 6:30 p.m., Monday, and charged with reckless endangerment, driving under the influence, negligent driving, violation of the implied consent law and solicitation of prostitution. Investigators say Sabrina Cox, 21, of Jackson, admitted to stopping McMillen as he drove near Railroad and Preston Streets and offering him sexual favors for money. She faces a charge of prostitution. Once in the truck, investigators say the two admit to arguing over how much money Cox would be paid. She told investigators she asked to be taken back to where she was picked up and that is when McMillen tried to push her out of the moving vehicle. A Jackson police investigator witnessed the incident and reports McMillen smelled of alcohol when he was pulled over. The investigator also says McMillen failed three field sobriety tests and admitted that he had drank some rum. Cox is also currently free. She was released on her own recognizance.
