West TN United Way Invests Millions
The United Way of West Tennessee is ensuring they can continue to create opportunities to better the lives of all West Tennesseans. Over the next year, the organization will invest more than $1.47 million into 126 area programs, operated by 79 partner agencies across West Tennessee as part of their 2011 and 2012 community impact funding. More than $604,000 will be invested into 31 programs operated by 23 partner agencies in Crockett, Hardeman, Chester and Madison Counties as well. The United Way of West Tennessee’s goal is to create long-lasting changes by addressing problems in education, income and the health of the community it serves.
