Henry Arraigned on Murder Charges

The Chester County man accused in the brutal beating death of an elderly relative was formally charged in his death. Joe Allen Henry appeared in a Chester County courtroom this morning where he was officially charged with first degree murder and felony murder. Jail records show he was being held without bond. Henry’s great uncle, Gurley Harris, 84, was found beaten inside his home in Henderson on February 15. He died from his injuries about two weeks later. Investigators said at the time, they believed robbery was the motive.
