McNairy County Traffic Camera is Up and Running

Drivers traveling through Selmer may want to watch their speed after a new traffic camera was installed. Selmer police officers said a new camera at the red light near Wal-Mart on HWY 45 is up and running and will monitor the speed of drivers in the area. Officers said they decided to place the new ‘eye in the sky’ at that particular intersection because it is one of the busiest and most dangerous in the city. Right now officers said they camera is ticketing drivers with warning citations, however, beginning next week drivers will have to pay for the tickets.
